August has been a busy month at the NSGA, and we’re excited to share some of our recent activities and upcoming plans as we approach the end of the year. This month, we participated in a Sexual and Reproductive Health Seminar at the University of The Gambia, celebrated International Youth Day, World Mosquito Day, and World Population Day, and attended UNFPA’s Mid-Year Review. We also welcomed four new interns from Canada and are happy to have them with us this fall as we prepare for another impactful season of community engagement and outreach across The Gambia!
Next up, we’re heading out on a 12-day trip across the CRR, URR, and LRR to deliver mobile HIV and cervical cancer screening clinics in communities across the country. Stay tuned to our social media to follow along and see more from the journey!
